Of Bees and Butterlies

For a multi-day wedding at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge in Trenton, GA, we designed a custom wedding stationery suite that blended nature, meaning, and refined detail. The letterpress invitation, finished with a wax seal on classic white paper, set the tone for a timeless Southern event. A symbolic bug motif carried through the design: a dragonfly for the groom’s father, a bee for his Georgia roots and the official state insect, and a butterfly for the bride’s Oregon heritage. Our favorite weekend details included acrylic dragonfly table numbers, tassel dinner menus indicating meal choice, and layered cane, acrylic, and paper bar menus for added depth and texture.
